Bee balm quilt bee

Had to pop this on the blog. my one sewing adventure for the day...
I'm in the Bee Balm Quilt bee, and this was our December block.
Looks great with the black background!
Instructions were on Bonnie's site...Quiltville
I had never paper pieced, so this was a first for me, and I'm quite happy with the results...

great block, ok how did you join this bee?
sounds like a fun project , you make a block a month for one member?
and at the end of the year you will all have a quilt made with blocks from the whole group?

Great block. Love the colors against the black. My one attempt at paper piecing was not a success.
