More Help PLease...

These are the blocks i rcvd ONLY YESTERDAY!!!! woo hoo!
You can see a few off the photo too, that I couldn't squeeze onto my wall!

THANK YOU!!

Barb in MI
Mary R.
Rene'
Janice
Beth
Jill
Helen
Jenny
Mariel in MI

Mariel also sent me some batting ! Thank you so much!!

Which leads me to ask if
anyone
can donate backing fabric? aprox 69" X 93"

or bindings? 2.5" wide strips

even, batting

I think I plan to just sew all the blocks together.. no borders...
only because of lack of fabric to border them all..
Right now I believe I may be up to 6 quilts...

Another thing I could do, to have even more quilts...

if anyone wanted to donate fabric square's 10.5 X 10.5
I could make the house blocks go even further...
sort of check board the blocks...
Any fabrics would be great fun...

Whatever anyone could help with will be fantastic. thank you so much.

MORE WAYS TO HELP::

QUILTS FOR LEUKAEMIA

And as long as your willing to share, those of you in Europe,
Perhaps you will consider helping out Clare
She makes Quilts for :

The block size should be 8.5 inches unfinished.

The colours should be red and white and in any pattern you like. When you have finished, email me and I will let you have my snail mail address. Perhaps, once you have finished them and I have received them, you might like to brighten up your blog or web site comme ça.

She will always use backings, and bindings, and batting, so please, if you able to share, please do... Every little thing we can do to help, brings joy. thank you!

And the SIS BOOM POW donation quilts (click to see blog)
are getting their bindings on them,
to be sewn up here on Saturday, along with other members of the
NYC Metro Mod quilters group...

Any other New york metro area people,
if you out there, please come.
Email me and I'll tell you where.
All welcome...

would you be interested in more small prints for the binding and 10.5 squares? I could do this.

I have a rusty polka dot waiting in my charity bin...only a yard I think, but I'll bring it down. If you think it works, it's yours. Hmmmm....I'll see if there's anything else I can bring. Got lots to talk about...time for an e-mail as it looks like this week is too busy for a chat and sew date. We'll talk soon!

Hi V! I think I have something that is large enough for a backing. I'll check - and can send squares or yardage for borders. Let me know if you have a preference.

I wen through my backing stash and pulled three pieces of 6 yard fabrics that I will contribute to these quilts... Whatever else I get, will help a great deal.. any fabric will look great with these houses... Depending on how much fabric i have, will depend on how I finish the blocks... the more I can make the happier I will be... ;-)

thank you guys!

Isn't it wonderful what we get when we just ask!?!? :) Way to go! :) This is great! My fabric still awaits the building of the houses. ;)

Love it! :)

V - I'd help if I could, but I'm too looking for backing fabric, fabric for binding and batting for Quilts 4 Leukaemia.

I'm just wondering. What if we swapped "badges" and asked everyone to help one or the other?

xxx

I will check my fabric closet this weekend and see if I have anything for the squares or binding that will work for you! I don't have any "nice" fabric, I mainly buy from Joann's and Walmart or what people have given me over the years, but I will see what I can find! I would love to be a part of this great project!
