Sunday....

This is my attempt to motivate myself to finish my flower garden quilt..... I figure if I blog about it (again) perhaps I'll start working on it again.... I've tried this before but with no affect...It's been a nice lazy weekend. Practically no sewing, can you imagine?
notice I said practically... Just a few stitches, and a binding... does that count?

I spent more time looking....

And thinking...About quilts in my head....

Aren't these lovely?

If you want it finished you need to make it happen! A great lazy weekend is just what you deserve after such a busy productive week! Love the four patch, but I have to say the little busy stars is not on my horizons.

your flowwer garden is looking so nice. I work on mine only when I ride in the car. Yesterday I went for a ride and I was able to make 2 flowers.
Now I need another ride to attach them.

Could you be a "head case?" Just kidding. I am not sewing much right now either. Winter malaise maybe? But if I was looking at that flower garden, I think I would get motivated. It is gorgeous! Karmen

This lovely flowery quilt will make Spring come earlier this year. At least at your home. This thought ought to motivate you!

Come on! The hardest part is done. Go ahead and enjoy it.

Ah, cognitive dissonance. Public commitments do tend to force us to follow through.

Wow, cool quilts to dream about! I love how you have the flower garden quilt-in-progress spread out over the bed. At least you can see what it will look like when it's all done and ready to use. I didn't get any sewing done over the weekend either... and I miss it!

What if you were transion from your brown background to a green leafy background? This could emulate seasonal changes and inspire you to make this quilt really bloom!

It is crowded with quilts in that head of yours (in mine too). Maybe once your Kitchen sink is finished you will want to come back to the flower garden. If not, well you've got alot of quilts in you that will have to come out. Have a fabulous week my friend and happy quilting!!!

Are you using paper piecing? If so, that may be why you're having a hard time making yourself work on it. I made a king size GFG with 3/4 inch hexes by hand without any papers etc. I just y-seamed everybody in there. The corners are not as crisp, but I don't mind that. You can see it on the left side of my blog if you like.
