plugging along...again

I am still plugging along on the Kitchen sink quilt...
I have the left side left to piece, and then I can attach the big bottom strip.

It's literally a sweat shop in my studio today, as it's nearly 60 degrees outside and rainy,
(IN JANUARY!!)
And the building has the heat on...
So before I sweat til I disappear entirely, I gotta get out of the loft...

I feel I have posted these so many times!

But look! I finally got them all appliqued!

I may be putzy, but it was so worth it! Now I gotta figure out the borders.

Sorry folks, you may see this one again a few times more, before it's finished! sigh.

I did get the Chinese new year quilt finished also this weekend.
Slowly, I am getting UFO's finished...

I think it's great how you show the in process shots - it seems like you finish so many quilts, but you also have a lot going all the time! I think it's nice, too, to have projects at each stage so no matter what you feel like doing there's something there for you to pick up and work on for a bit.

Your on point with flowers quilt is just too wonderful for words! I may have to make one...I just drool over it every time you show it.

Both of your quilts are gorgeous, but the "kitchen sink" quilt looks like sooooo much work! It's going to be a real beauty once it's quilted!

Your appliqued flower quilt is coming together so quickly and looking quite lovely! And you have made to much progress on your kitchen sink quilt too. Wow. Can't believe how warm it is in NYC for January. Hope you got out for some fresh air.

Yep, the Kitchen Sink is a winner. I used to do baby quilts like this, when I was making them. Bright and perfect for all the orphan blocks!

I had the sliding glass door open to the deck tonight, and except for the rain, I would have grilled dinner.
At least I can turn off my heat -- but it is still warm.

You are soooo talented. I enjoy see what creation will come to you next. Love them both, but am particularly fond of the improvised kitchen sink.
